Private Classes

With individual attention from our instructors, you can receive personalized training in music theory to best fit your needs as an artist. Private Classes are always available so they can fit around any artist’s busy schedule.

Absolute Intro to Theory

This class is an hour long, once a month special. Specifically designed for those of us that may wish to go into our level 1 course with a little bit of a foundation. This is at a slower pace and is built for any of us that have never touched music before and have no clue where to start.

Sight-Singing Hourly Workout

Built for the theatre artist who knows a little theory already. This class is designed to put your knowledge to practice. Because the only way to get better is to practice! We take 1-2 songs, break them down to then sing them straight away.

Group Courses

Our five-week intensive courses are the best option for any working theatre artist. Set up in 3 levels, these classes are best for the artist that wants the best music theory training to kickstart or finetune the techniques for a stronger career.

Unsure which level to choose - look below!

Class Levels

Level 1

Level 1 is suitable for the artist with little to no prior knowledge of music theory or training. At this level, we will cover basic notation, symbols, time signatures, key signatures, and rhythms.

For UK performers, this level is equivalent to ABRSM Theory Grade 1.

Level 2

Level 2 is for those who understand the basics and are looking to begin applying their knowledge practically to audition and rehearsal practices. At this level, we will cover such topics as basic piano, more advanced rhythms, time signatures, key signatures, beginner ear training, and rehearsal notation prep.

For UK performers, this level is equivalent to ABRSM Theory Grades 2 and 3.

Level 3

This level is for the more advanced music theory student. Artists at this level may have had prior training or taken a class in college. At this level, we will dive into more advanced ear training, interval practice, sight-reading, circle of fifths, transposition, and understanding chord structure and cutting music for the piano.

For UK Performers, this level is equivalent to ABRSM Theory Grades 4 and 5.
